The World of News.

Sabah, one the most important media corporations of Turkey, were to start to publish the Turkish edition of the New York Times. Such a big cooperation would require a launch campaign that would live up to the reputation of media giants.

Imago Production Company has contacted us for the project development and we started to build upon the concept that was originally developed by Leo Burnett İstanbul office. They were envisioning cities made of newspaper clips.

We further elaborated the idea and decided to link two of the iconic cities of all times; New York and İstanbul. The most recognizable landmarks and treffpunkts were to look even more interesting when they are covered with clippings. In order to create depth and shadows we animated and played with the words.

At the end of the day, the film delivered the story of two media pioneers were merging as the iconic cities they are located in. And this time the film gave the news of it.
