UTV is the revival of Fallujah TV, which has been among prominent stations in Iraqi broadcasting for years. Subsequent to the period of turmoil, just like the country itself the TV channel has underwent for reconstruction, and the idea of UTV, a new and truly Iraqi entertainment station was born.
Although built up on the foundations of its predecessor, UTV carried a whole new vision; being the TV station that airs the Iraq of future.
